You can use the 3m overhanging Shanghai parasol as a freestanding parasol provided that you have a weighted support (not included) to hold it in place. The crank system allows you to erect the canopy when needed. When not in use, we recommend that the parasol be kept closed and closed during windy conditions. This parasol cantilever is made from a polyester fabric and a steel frame.
